Job Description:
We are conducting an executive search for a Senior IT Consultant with background in the IT and data center strategy planning area. (Title depends on experience). Our client is a fast growing national system integrator / VAR and consulting firm. This role will develop and execute client engagements working with top IT corporate leaders to help set their IT strategies with regards to data center optimization, virtualization, cloud services, business continuity, and disaster recover. POSITION: Senior IT Consultant (title depends on experience). This is a key role on the engagement team; either running small engagements, managing portions of a large engagement, or being a team member on an engagements driving the fact-finding, analysis, and drafting of recommendations for the client report.

LOCATION: This is a regional role. Consultant can be located in any of the following locations Eastern and Central Regional locations: New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, Raleigh (RTP area), North Virginia, Boston, Indianapolis, Cincinnati.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have 5-7+ years of Big 5 or major consulting firm experience, with experience in all phases of lifecycle from requirements to implementation.
* Must establish client relationships and maintain contacts at all levels.
* Must be able to establish credibility and have experience in one of the following areas:
- Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery
- Data Center Optimization
- Cloud Services
- Virtualization
* Must be able to develop and execute project plans for client engagements, including engagement plan, identifying and recruiting engagement members, and preparation of individual work plans. Delivers engagements products and managed engagement profitability. Delivers final reports.
* Must play a role in practice development by assisting in the management of consulting resources on an engagement. Participates in the professional development and recruitment efforts for the organization.
* Must be comfortable with travel in the 50-75% range, mostly within the eastern and central regions.
* Must have strong business acumen and IT consulting background. Bachelor's degree required. MBA will be a plus.
